Leslie

Chief Operations Officer

Leslie relocated to Wilmington from Blacksburg, Virginia in 2001 and joined our team in early 2006. As chief operations officer, she oversees operations at all three Port City Ortho locations and handles human resources for the team. Leslie also uses her leadership and organizational skills to keep the office running smoothly. She prides herself on her sense of humor and the ability to make others smile. In her spare time, she stays busy spending quality time with her daughter, Kyleigh and friends.

Allison

Insurance Coordinator

Allison relocated from Charlotte, North Carolina and joined our team in 2016. She has over 15 years of experience in a combination of pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. She resides in Hampstead with her children, Maddox and Ellie. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Diane

Appointment Coordinator

I like helping educate patients about orthodontics and developing a rapport with patients and families throughout treatment. I am sometimes called the “face of the practice” because I schedule appointments and am the direct liaison between Dr. Richardson and our patient family. I love working with Dr. Richardson and our team because we have a fun, upbeat, and family-friendly atmosphere. We care about each other and care about our patients! I relocated from New York in 2012 to be closer to the beach and have fun in the sun with my Boston Terrier, Mickey. In my free time, I love traveling to visit my family, especially my grandchildren.

Stephanie

Appointment Coordinator

Stephanie is originally from Fayetteville. She joined our team in February 2024. In her free time, she enjoys summer days, the beach and spending time with her family. She’s fluent in Spanish and loves to accommodate any Spanish needs. She recently started her orthodontic journey and looks forward to growing more professionally with Port City Ortho.

Elaina

Financial Coordinator

Elaina is originally from Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, but relocated to Wilmington in 2017 with her husband Kyle and her two boys, Everette and Boone. Elaina joined our team in 2018 with a background in the Dental Sleep Medicine Field and is a certified Dental Assistant. As financial coordinator, she oversees all three Port City Ortho locations and assists patients with financing and benefits. In her free time, she loves taking her boat out with her family, fishing and cheering on the Carolina Tar Heels, and living the Coastal lifestyle!

Kim

Treatment Coordinator

I have nearly a decade of experience as a dental assistant and now serve as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator. I find joy in coffee and books and recently celebrated two years of marriage. Time with my family, friends, and my furry companion, Cici is important to me. I'm fluent in Spanish and dedicated to creating beautiful smiles.

Viviana

Treatment Coordinator

Viviana is originally from Mexico and relocated to Wilmington in 1998. With a passion for dentistry, she joined our team in the summer of 2017 as an orthodontic assistant following graduation from CFCC. After five years of assisting, she transitioned to a Treatment Coordinator in the spring of 2023. Being bilingual, she can accommodate any Spanish speaking needs. In her spare time, she loves doing different activities with her husband and two children.

Danielle

Clinical Coordinator

Danielle is a Wilmington native. After graduating Hoggard High School, she obtained her certification in Dental Assisting in 2016. She joined our team in October of 2019. Because she wore braces as a child and Invisalign as an adult she understands the process from both sides of the chair. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and being out on the water. 

Amy

Orthodontic Assistant

Amy moved from Greenville, NC to Carolina Beach in 2003, and has been a member of our team since then. She loves to make patients smile, by helping to straighten their teeth, as well as getting to know them, during their treatment. Having almost thirty years of experience in the field, Amy enjoys sharing all that she has learned. In her spare time, Amy is passionate about music and enjoys days spent at the beach and at home with her husband, Justin, along with their puppy, Levon. 

Aubrey

Orthodontic Assistant

Aubrey is a Wilmington Native. She joined our team in the summer of 2023 after graduating from CFCC’s Dental Assisting program. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the coast and spending time with her family and four cats. Her hobbies include shopping, playing soccer, going to the gym, and trying new restaurants.

Bethany

Orthodontic Assistant

Bethany is a North Carolina native, growing up and living in a small town on the outskirts of Wilmington. After graduating from CFCC in 2008, she has worked in general dentistry and orthodontics. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, her husband and two kids Ellie and Dierks. Her hobbies include sports, shopping, church and playing with her farm animals.

Cora

Orthodontic Assistant

Cora is a Wilmington native. She joined our team in early 2022, and graduated from CFCC later that year with her Associates in Science and a certification in dental assisting. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her two dogs Bear and Arya, as well as spending quality time with her friends and family. 

Elisa

3D Printing Technician

Elisa joined the team after graduating from CFCC in the summer of 2018. After working as a chair side assistant for five years, she transitioned to lab technician and does all of the in-house 3D printing. Some of her hobbies include going to the beach, reading, and traveling. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and dogs.

Geri-Lynn

Orthodontic Assistant

Geri-Lynn relocated from Northern VA in 2017. She brings 20 years experience in orthodontics. She loves watching the patients confidence grow as their teeth get straightened. It’s rewarding to know we are changing peoples lives in a positive way. Geri-Lynn is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where she met her husband, Craig. They have 2 daughters, 3 grand children and a dog, Bandit. Geri-Lynn’s hobbies include golf, bowling, hanging out at the beach and spending time with her family. 

Meghan

Orthodontic Assistant

Meghan grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Moving to Wilmington in 2021 for school, she graduated from CFCC with her certification in Dental Assisting in 2022. She joined our team shortly after doing clinical rotations through our office and realizing ortho was her passion. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside with her husband Grant, and poodle, Bandit.

Raevyn

Orthodontic Assistant

Raevyn, a native of New Jersey, brings an impressive 16 years of experience to the field of orthodontics. She has dedicated the last three years of her career to a dynamic team, where her expertise and dedication have shown brightly. Beyond her professional life, Raevyn is a loving mother to two wonderful children, demonstrating her remarkable multi-tasking abilities. She carries the strength of a widow, facing life's challenges with unwavering courage and resilience.

Kelly

Orthodontic Assistant

Kelly has been part of our team since 2006. She lives in Riegelwood with her husband Ronnie and their two children, Marlee and Lucas. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Jami

Orthodontic Assistant

Jami is a proud mother of 2 amazing children, Madeline and Harrison. In her spare time she enjoys baking, making weekend visits to ECU to visit Madeline and hanging out with Harrison. She also enjoys playing ball with her Chesapeake Bay retriever, Sully.
